"Sisi Joke" I received with great shock, the news of your death. You had pulled through several surgeries and other health challenges and I fully expected that you would scale through this last one as well! I thank God for everything especially the last time I saw you when we were able to spend two months together after you had been in Ghana. It was such a pleasant time, reminiscing about our parents, siblings and life in general. Little did I know that God was preparing me for this vacuum. I remember our 'growing -up' years in Minna - you used to play with my hair and dress me up. You were so loving, caring and always ready to lend a hand even when I sometimes ungratefully complained about your efforts over my hair. When I was young, you never came back fro your outings empty handed. while you were studying in Freetown, you regularly sent gifts to me and Busola. All through the years, when you lived in Ghana and then in England, you always visited bearing gifts! During the last visit, we had our fair share of sisterly quarrels, mainly because you liked your surroundings to be tidy and well organised. Finally, I am the 'last man standing'. All of you who have gone before - Papa, Mama, sis Eunice, Busola, Sisi Derin, Akin and now you will be sorely missed. It is well. Ronke Abel
